Natural Habitat & Behavior
- Origin: Endemic to the dense rainforests of Peninsular Malaysia, specifically Gunung Ledang in Johor.
- Lifestyle: They are opportunistic burrowers and heavy webbers that spend most of their time hidden in deep, elaborate burrows to maintain optimal humidity and temperature.
- Temperament: As an Old World tarantula, they are known to be skittish, elusive, and possess a medically significant bite. They are strictly a "display only" species and are not recommended for handling.
